Billing overview

How the wallet, plans, and renewals work together.

Inhank Cloud uses a prepaid wallet funded by you, from which monthly plans are renewed every 30 days. You always know what you've paid for, and you're never surprised by a card charge.

Payments are processed by Razorpay with support for UPI, cards, netbanking, and wallets.

Top up your wallet
Add credits via UPI, card, or netbanking.

The model in one sentence

You top up your wallet with credits (1 credit = ₹1). Each of your services has a plan that costs a fixed number of credits per 30-day period. At each renewal, those credits are deducted from your wallet.

Wallet

Your wallet is a per-account prepaid balance.

  • Visible at the top of the Billing screen, and pinned to the sidebar.
  • Funded by top-ups via Razorpay (UPI, cards, netbanking, wallets).
  • Used to renew plans on every service you own.
  • Never expires.

See Plans & renewal for the renewal mechanics.

Plans

Each service has its own plan that determines:

  • CPU and memory limits
  • Number of instances allowed
  • Period cost (credits per 30 days)

Plans are picked when you create a service and can be changed at any time from Service settings → Plan. See Resource usage for what each plan provides.

Topping up

  1. Open the dashboard → Billing in the sidebar.
  2. Click + Add credits.
  3. Pick an amount (minimum ₹100, maximum ₹100,000 per transaction).
  4. Click Continue to payment. Razorpay Checkout opens.
  5. Pay via UPI, card, netbanking, or wallet.
  6. Your balance updates within a few seconds of payment confirmation.

See Plans & renewal for what happens at renewal time.

At a glance

Three numbers you'll see often:

  • Wallet balance — credits available right now.
  • Forecast for this period — how many credits will be deducted at the next renewal cycle based on your current services and plans.
  • Days until next renewal — when the next deduction will happen for each service.

The dashboard surfaces these for every service on the Billing screen.

What happens when you run low

Inhank Cloud guides you in three stages:

  1. Below ₹500 — Banner in the dashboard, email reminder.
  2. Renewal fails (insufficient credits) — The service is paused: instances are scaled to zero, your URLs return 503. All other settings (env vars, domains, deployments) are preserved.
  3. Service paused for 7+ days — The service is archived. You can restore it by topping up; you'll need to redeploy.

See Plans & renewal: low balance for the full flow.

Earning credits

You can also add credits to your wallet without paying:

  • Sign-up bonus — New accounts receive a small free credit on signup. [TODO: confirm exact product behavior]
  • Referrals — Earn 10% of any friend's first top-up when they sign up via your referral link. See Referrals.
  • Promotions — Occasional campaigns we'll announce by email.

Receipts & invoices

Every top-up generates a Razorpay receipt with Inhank's GSTIN. You can also request a manual GST invoice if needed. See Invoices.

Pricing in detail

Pricing per plan, region, and tier is on the public pricing page. The dashboard always shows the up-to-date period cost for any service you're running.
