Referrals
Invite friends, earn wallet credits when they top up.
Every Inhank Cloud account has a unique referral link. When someone signs up using your link and tops up their wallet, you both earn credits.
Where to find your link
- Open the dashboard → Billing screen.
- The Referrals card shows:
- Your link, e.g.
https://cloud.inhank.com/r/<your-code> - The number of people who have signed up via your link
- The number who have topped up
- Total credits you've earned
- Your link, e.g.
Click Copy link to copy it to your clipboard.
How rewards work

| Someone signs up via your link | They receive a one-time bonus credit on their first top-up. |
| Their first top-up | You receive 10% of their top-up amount as wallet credit. |
| All subsequent top-ups | No further rewards (one-time per referee). |
Rewards are credited within a few minutes of the referee's payment being confirmed.
Example
You share your link. A friend signs up, then tops up ₹500.
- They get a sign-up bonus added to their wallet (e.g. ₹100). [TODO: confirm exact bonus amount]
- You get
10% × ₹500 = ₹50credited to your wallet.
If the same friend tops up again next month, no additional credits are issued — the reward is one-time per referee.
Rules
- Self-referrals are blocked. Don't open your own link in another browser.
- One referee per signup. Once someone clicks your link and registers, they're permanently associated with your account, even if they revisit a different link later.
- Referral credits are wallet credits — they can be spent on any service's plan renewals, but they are non-refundable (no cash withdrawal).
- We reserve the right to claw back rewards if we detect abuse (fake signups, automation, payment fraud, etc.).
Sharing tips
A few ways developers like to use their referral link:
- README mention. If you've open-sourced a project that runs on Inhank Cloud, add a "Deploy yours on Inhank Cloud" badge that links to your referral.
- Personal site. A small "Hosted on Inhank Cloud" footer linking to your referral.
- Twitter / LinkedIn bio. "Building on Inhank Cloud" + link.
- Group chats. When a friend asks how to deploy a side project, share the link.
Tracking referrals
The Referrals card on the Billing screen shows the running totals. Click it to open a detailed view with:
- Each referee (email partially redacted, e.g.
john****@example.com) - Their signup date
- Whether they've topped up yet, and how much
Use this to gauge what content / channels are converting.
FAQ
"Can I refer myself with a second account?"
No. Self-referrals are detected and rewards are not issued.
"Do referral credits expire?"
No. Wallet credits never expire, whether you earned them via referral or paid for them.
"Can I withdraw referral credits as cash?"
No. Referral credits can only be spent inside Inhank Cloud, on your own services.
"What if my friend signs up but never tops up?"
You earn nothing. The reward is tied to the friend's first paid top-up.
"What if my friend signs up via a different link later?"
The first link they sign up with is the one that counts. Even if they open a different referral link afterwards, attribution stays with the original.
